What Readers Say About My Book

Josaine Caron Santha

five star rate

A book that’s good for body and mind. Inspiring, useful, realistic and new advice for me, who thought I was already well informed on the subject. I wanted to have a quick look at this book found on my colleague’s desk…but I was hooked immediately and had to borrow it to read it in its entirety.

The occupational therapy perspective and the support of the advice on science particularly resonate with me as an occupational therapist and make me feel confident. This book is a great gift to give oneself or as a present.

I thought I’d read everything on this topic. What sets this work apart is its wide-ranging, full-spectrum look at fatigue and oneself, with thirty-four pages of appendices that you’ll want to print to use while referencing the book’s detailed explanations of what can impact one’s energy balance.

The book guides one through both self-examination and practical application with the help of supporting tables and exercises (approximately two dozen)…

Finally, I find a book that consolidates so much and gives whole-life tools.

What professional who hears “chronic fatigue” from a patient (or client) wouldn’t love to offer the tools in this book?

A workbook and reference that every practitioner (occupational therapist, social worker, physiotherapist, psychologist, nurse, doctor) who works with clients with symptoms of chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, burn out, fibromyalgia, etc.) should have. Very holistic approach, with strategies and exercises to put into practice on a daily basis
